Euler partners with Unlink to enable privacy for institutional credit
The modular lending protocol is integrating Unlink so institutions can access public markets without broadcasting their size, strategy, or positions, while keeping the records they need to review and report activity.

Introduction
“Unlink gives our users a way to access Euler markets without putting their strategy on public display, and opens the door for institutions that have stayed on the sidelines.” — Kasper Pawlowski, CTO, Euler
“Privacy has always been a fundamental component of financial markets. We are excited to partner with Euler to bring privacy to public blockchains to unlock institutional adoption.” — Paul-Henry Kajfasz, CEO, Unlink
Euler’s modular architecture gives institutions isolated markets with clearly defined risk parameters, where anyone can verify the protocol is behaving as intended. However, because these transactions settle on a public chain, for companies managing meaningful size, this degree of signalling to counterparties, competitors, and bots is often reason enough to avoid these kinds of markets entirely.
Why Euler chose Unlink
Euler set out to clear a specific set of requirements to bring institutional lending onchain:
-
No bridging, no new chain. Unlink works directly on the chains Euler already supports, without introducing a new network or custody model.
-
The protocol stays unchanged. No changes are made to vault interfaces or contracts. Vault parameters, collateral relationships, oracle inputs, and liquidation logic stay public and verifiable, letting anyone underwrite the risk of a market before entering it.
-
Privacy with audit visibility. Unlink keeps institutional activity private from the public while preserving access to the records institutions need to monitor positions, review activity, and support audit or reporting workflows. Disclosure stays with the parties entitled to it, the same way it works in traditional markets.
What’s ahead
With Unlink, institutions will be able to access Euler markets as usual while keeping vault selection, position size, and rebalancing activity private.
Markets remain public and verifiable. What becomes private is the identity and strategy of individual participants.
The integration is ongoing and will go live soon.
